As a licensed minister and ministry leader at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Sharmaine serves alongside her husband, Pastor Dr. B. Charvez Russell. Her ministry is marked by compassion, practical teaching, and a deep commitment to helping women change their lifestyles by recognizing their God-given identity, healing, growing, and walking boldly in purpose.

Through Changing Lifestyles Women’s Group and Women on a Mission, she creates faith-centered spaces where women can strengthen their relationship with God, build authentic sisterhood, and receive tools for the everyday realities of life. Her leadership reaches beyond inspiration; it calls women toward wholeness, responsibility, and lasting transformation.
